Full-time Openings: 

Production Lab Manager for 1st Shift – Will manage personnel, including time card approval, counseling/disciplining, and conducting performance appraisals.  Conducts testing at all stages of test strip and liquid reagent production as needed. Will prioritize work schedule for ADM, Converting, and QC lab personnel.  Conducts/schedules QC testing on all purchased test strips as needed. Assists R&D and test strip production and reagent production with solving problems. Assists in the development of test strip colors for “batch matched” product and new products.   Requires a BS in Chemistry or equivalent lab experience. Must have lab and personnel management skills and be willing to travel to printing companies. Must also be able to transport up to 40 pounds and wear a chemical respirator. Must be capable of performing and directing lab work and flow.  Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

 

Spin Reagent Prep Chemical Technician for 1st Shift – Prepares reagents according to specified procedures in a safe manner. Works closely with disk production to be sure reagents are ready. Requires 2 years college chemistry or equivalent experience working in analytical lab in a related field.  Must possess good laboratory skills to safely handle chemicals used in Spin reagent prep; be familiar with standard laboratory equipment, e.g., analytical balance, pH meters, spectrophotometers, automatic pipettes, and volumetric flasks.  Must be able to prepare standard solution by serial dilution. Must be able to follow detailed reagent prep procedures. Must be able to use compressed gas cylinders and vacuum lines safely. Requires proficient computer skills for data entry into spread sheets. Must maintain accurate laboratory batch records.  Must have good communications skills and be able to work with other staff members, be organized and work independently. Must be able work efficiently and complete tasks on time. Requires good color perception and ability to pass a color test. Hrs. are 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

 

Spin Machine Operator for 2nd Shift – Operates the filling equipment that dispenses liquids and/or pouching equipment.  Fills in for any production position. Cross trains with QC Tech & fills in when needed.  Requires mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, good color perception, manual dexterity & ability to transport up to 50 pounds & operate loaded pallet jack 2nd Shift hours are 3:00 p.m. to 11:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

 

R & D Chemical Technician for 1st Shift – Prepares reagents and standards according to specified procedures in a safe manner.  Prepares test paper formulas and assembles test strips. Assists in data generation, computer input and analysis for development projects.  Completes routine performance testing of instruments and stock test kits. Assists in the preparation of data sheets and specifications of new and existing products.  Assists in preparation of Spin reagents and QC of various product lines. Performs interference and stability tests on new and existing products. Requires 2 years college chemistry or equivalent experience working in analytical lab in a related field.  Must possess good laboratory skills to safely handle chemicals used in R&D laboratory; be familiar with standard laboratory equipment, e.g., analytical balance, pH meters, spectrophotometers, automatic pipettes, and volumetric flasks. Must be able to prepare standard solution by serial dilution. Requires proficient computer skills for data entry into spread sheets, plotting data and the ability to analyze results. Must follow established laboratory procedures and maintain accurate laboratory notebook records. Must have good communications skills and be able to work with other staff members, be organized and work independently.  Must be able work efficiently and complete tasks on time. Requires good color perception and ability to pass a color test. Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

Software Support Technician for 1 st Shift - Focus on “Tier 1” end-user support of software
products for the pool and spa market and development testing. This includes resolving software
related customer service issues directly with customers via phone, email or other
communication method and processing internal orders for software and hardware replacement.
Must communicate well with internal and external customers. Requires A+ or equivalent
certification(s) and experience. B.S. degree, current I.T. certifications and/or extensive software
support exp. preferred. Must have excellent computer troubleshooting and communication
skills. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Express 2008 r2 troubleshooting is a plus.
Experience with various remote connection tools, such as WebEx also a plus. Knowledge of
pool/spa water chemistry a major plus.
Front End, UI-UX Developer for 1 st Shift – Must be motivated to combine the art of design with
the art of programming. Responsibilities include translation of the functional requirements to
actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the project
manager and the backend development team to complete the implementation of an Angular 5
UI and then maintain and enhance that UI. Must have 2-3 years experience developing SPA
applications. Experience with Angular 5.x or newer and with modern front-end build processes
(transpilin, npm, css preprocessors, etc)
Shipping Packager for 1 st Shift - Will assist in picking orders from warehouse & will package
orders in compliance with hazardous material handling regs. Must be able to transport packages
up to 70 pounds frequently each day, & operate a pallet jack. Experience in shipping plus
knowledge of procedures preferred, not required. Mon. thru Fri., 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., plus
overtime as needed.
