Molybdate/Molybdenum: Three methods are available - 2 colorimetric and one titrimetric. Xanthogonate forms a pink color; thioglycolate forms a yellowish color with molybdate. Molybdenum may be titrated by citric acid with the reaction having a red to yellow endpoint. |
