This outfit is a rugged, self-contained nutrient testing lab designed to enable the greenhouse operator to get professional test results. Critical soil acidity measurements are made quickly and accurately with the battery-powered pH5 meter. Soluble Salt content of soil mixtures and irrigation waters are measured with a Con5 Conductivity meter. |

Colorimetric analyses of nitrate nitrogen and phosphorus are conducted with octet comparators. Potassium levels in greenhouse soils are analyzed by a direct-reading turbidity tube method. Calcium and magnesium tests employ direct reading titrators, which dispense reagents to end-point color reactions. This outfit comes in a sturdy portable case with reagents for 50 tests per factor. A fact-filled handbook, Greenhouse Soils, is included. |
