LaMotte Test Instructions, MSDS, Certificates of Analysis
Important Information About LaMotte
Material Safety Data Sheets
LaMotte Company has changed the way it provides MSDS's to customers using our
kits. Currently MSDS's can be accessed anytime on our web site at
www.lamotte.com and can be collected by simply entering the kit
code numbers. LaMotte Company now provides a MSDS AnyTime
CD-ROM with kits containing certain hazardous chemicals*
that may pose a greater health hazard if mishandled.
You can also download MSDS AnyTime by clicking the link below.
The downloadable executable file contains the MSDS AnyTime program
and all of the MSDS's that LaMotte Company offers on our website.
New requirements are mandating a transition from the current one-page
MSDS to an arrangement of the information into 16 standard headings,
making the form several pages long. Since the new format is not
suitable for inclusion in small portable test kits we may soon provide
the MSDS's on our web site only. An increasing number of customers
prefer to download MSDS's from a web site; however, we feel obligated
during the changeover period to provide the CD-ROM containing current
MSDS's for all LaMotte reagents in case access to the internet is
temporarily restricted. To request the MSDS AnyTime CD-ROM,
email us at msds@lamotte.com.
*Law dictates access to MSDSs in an accessible form in the workplace for all materials containing 1% or more of a hazardous ingredient.
Material Safety Data Sheet
LaMotte Company has a wide range of products that require a MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), to accompany those products. If you need extra copies of these MSDS's for your records, you can download them. Each one is available here in downloadable PDF file format, which can be read by Adobe® Acrobat® Reader.
If you do not have a copy of Adobe® Acrobat® Reader installed on your computer, it can also be downloaded for FREE. Just click the "Get Acrobat® Reader" icon to link to the Adobe® site for download instructions.
Please type in the field below the LaMotte Reagent Code found on the label of each reagent bottle to receive individual MSDS's for that reagent, or type in a LaMotte Kit Code for a listing of just the "hazardous" MSDS's for that kit.
Note: The LaMotte Product Code for each reagent matches the MSDS number for that reagent. Omit any letter that follows the four digit code number. Suffix letters indicate the quantity of reagent only.
