Precision specific gravity hydrometer for salinity measurement. Glass with scale graduated in divisions of 0.0005 from 1.000° to 1.070° Specific Gravity. Each unit checked against NIST certified standard. Includes table to convert reading to salinity in parts per thousand (ppt). Length 13 inch (330 mm), scale length 5-1/2 inch (140 mm). Precision molded clear plastic (PMP) 500 mL cylinder with broad base for extra stability and easy-to-read, molded 1 mL graduations. Clear, durable polymethyl-pentene cylinder is never slippery, even when wet.
