Current Full-time Openings:

 

Graphic Designer/Publications Coordinator  - Works onsite for in-housecorporate ad agency.  Will type, format & design documents (manuals, instructions, forms, handbooks, etc.).  Includes some photography, illustration work and posting on FB & Twitter.  Must be familiar with desktop publishing and related programs. Specific exp.  Requires multi-tasking & ability to work effectively under the pressure of multiple deadlines.  Mon. thru Fri. 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

Instrument Repair Technician – Requires A.A. degree or equiv. exp. in electronics & methods to assemble, calibrate & repair electronic instruments, and maintain data records.  Must understand the theory of electronic circuitry & electrical components, including working knowledge of analog, digital &microprocessor theory.  Will troubleshoot and repair instruments.  Working knowledge of spreadsheets, databases & word processing required.  A strong understanding of opto-electrical systems is desirable as the product focus is colorimeters & turbidity meters.  Mon. thru Fri., from 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., plus overtime when needed.   

 

Kit Assembly Coordinator - Will report to Production Manager, supervise staff of 6, sort & review work orders & prioritize what each employee’s work, oversee safety, efficiency & compliance with all SOPs.   Requires assembling & recordkeeping.  Must be detail oriented & able to coach/train team members & help them organize their work.  Requires good judgment & communication, interpersonal, decision making and computer skills.  Must be able to transport up to 50 pounds, and handle a full loaded cart up to 200 lbs.  Mon. thru Fri., from 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., plus overtime when needed.   

 

 Lab Tech  - Will manufacture bulk reagent products according to schedule and productivity expectations.   Requires high school graduate or GED equivalent with math skills to scale up/down from one liter batch to larger (or smaller) batches and ability to follow manufacturing and safety instructions.  Must be able to accurately weigh and measure powders and solutions, transport up to 50 pounds, and wear a chemical cartridge respirator.  Mon. thru Fri., from 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., plus overtime when needed.   

 

 Machine Operator for Tablet Equipment – Will set-up, operate, troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance and clean-up of tablet presses, tablet strippers, large and small blenders and granulators.  Requires mechanical aptitude, ability to operate computer-interface equipment & ability to follow detailed instructions.  Must be able to transport up to 50 lbs and wear a chemical cartridge respirator when working with certain chemicals. Hours:  Mon. thru Fri., 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., with overtime as needed. 

 

Machine Operator 2nd Shift - Will operate the filling equipment that dispenses liquids and/or pouching equipment.  Fills in for any production position.  Cross trains with Coordinator and QC Tech & fills in when needed. Requires mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, good color perception, manual dexterity & ability to transport up to 50 pounds & operate loaded pallet jack. Hrs. are 3:45 p.m. 12:30 a.m., with overtime as needed.

 

Machine Operator 3rd Shift - Will operate the filling equipment that dispenses liquids and/or pouching equipment.  Fills in for any production position.  Cross trains with Coordinator and QC Tech & fills in when needed. Requires mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, good color perception, manual dexterity & ability to transport up to 50 pounds & operate loaded pallet jack. Hrs. are 12:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.  Work week begins 12:30 a.m. Monday and ends 8:30 a.m. Friday, with overtime as needed.  

 

Material Handler for Outsourcing  - Will pick materials for outside vendors to assemble products.  Must have people skills, be detail oriented, able to accurately count & read pick lists.  Requires basic computer skills & math skills to calculate the number of items on pallets, determine counts by weight using cross multiplication, convert units of measure, etc.  Requires significant walking, standing & moving material.  Must be able to transport up to 50 pounds & push a full loaded cart up to 200 lbs. Hrs:  Mon. thru Fri., 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., with overtime as needed. 

 

Quality Control Tech – 3rd Shift - Performs various testing of water testing product.  Requires good lab, math & computer skills.  Must be able to transport up to 40 lbs. Min. of high school chemistry preferred.  Hrs. are 11:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m., plus overtime when needed.  Work begins 11:00 p.m. Sunday and ends 7:00 a.m. Friday.

 

Recruiter (In-house) or Admin. Assistant to Assist with Recruiting:  Will recruit, select, interview, screen, hire, orient and help retain the best people possible to position the company to achieve its goals & continue to be successful.  Requires B.S. degree preferably in human resources, business admin., sales or psychology.  Previous experience recruiting a plus.  Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, decision-making, organizational & computer skills; solid ability to conduct interviews, telephone screenings & reference checking, and maintain records.   (If an Admin. Assistant is hired instead of a Recruiter, the B.S. degree will not be required, but strong clerical skills and previous office experience will be.)  Mon. thru Fri. from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

Shipping Packager - Will assist in picking orders from warehouse & will package orders in compliance with hazardous material handling regs.  Must be able to transport packages up to 70 pounds frequently each day, & operate a pallet jack. Exp. in shipping plus knowledge of procedures preferred, not required.  Mon. thru Fri., 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., plus overtime as needed.

Shop Assembler – Temporary position from now through August.  Will assemble test kit cases & drill & install foam inserts.  Will operate band saws, table saws, drill presses and sanders.  Must know how to use a ruler, straight edge and patterns.  Requires good motor skills, ability to read & follow directions, and ability to transport up to 50 pounds.  Must be flexible to change priorities and to work in other departments, and be dependable and a team player. Mon. thru. Fri. from 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., plus overtime as needed. 

 

Testab Packager – Temporary position from now through August.  Will count and pack tablets.  Requires good motor skills, ability to read and follow directions, count  and transport up to 25 pounds.   Must be flexible to change priorities and to work in other departments, and be dependable and a team player. Mon. thru. Fri. from 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., plus overtime as needed.

 


Test Strip Assembler
– Temporary position from now through August.  Will assemble test strips, package them into individual bottles, label bottles and/or pack bottles into their final shipping carton (multi-pack type).  Will work at one of the five stations in the blister pack work cell.  Requires good color perception, motor skills, attention to details, ability to transport up to 30 pounds.  Must be flexible to change priorities and to work in other departments, and be dependable and a team player.  Mon. thru. Fri. from 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., plus overtime as needed.
